Although measures could possibly be taken to help the Antiguans get a better profit and a better life. Here are some ideas...
- Ban 'all inclusive' holiday deals
- Tell hotels and other foreign businesses that they have to have a certain amount of Antiguans in there employees
- Don't allow many foreign companies in (although Antigua needs the money so it would be a bad idea really).
As normal it all boils down to money. Basically the Antiguan government needs the money so bad they let the companies that destroy their island have cheaper water, electricity and other amenities for a vastly cheaper price. It's a crazy world....
